Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Hawaii

Aloha Medical Mission

In November 2009, the Board of Directors approved a partnership to support the Aloha Medical Mission as a RPCVHI volunteer activity.  Jen Graf, RPCV Ecuador (1996-98) approached the board with a great idea to have RPCV's use their experience to help support a worthy cause.  Some area of needs are to help prepare and pack for a medical mission, translate for medical volunteers on a mission, and work on a data base.

The Aloha Medical Mission (AMM) is a Honolulu-based secular, nonprofit, volunteer organization that provides free health care to underserved people overseas and in Hawaii. For more information about the Aloha Medical Mission visit www.alohamedicalmission.org

To sign up as a volunteer and to have your name and contact information on a call list please email Jen Graf at jennifergraf@gmail.com

Medical attention is a great need worldwide.  Many Host Nationals in various countries Peace Corps currently serves in the Pacific have received help from the Aloha Medial Mission, such as Samoa.

I wish to express my sincere appreciation to Jen for stepping up and offering to Chair this new partnership between Aloha Medical Mission and  RPCVHI.  Thanks Jen!!!
