The Barbecue is potluck, drinks will be provided, and we will be grilling some hotdogs and hamburgers.

You Can Arrive by Bus

There are several options for transportation to Ft. DeRussy Recreation Area. Not ONLY is #8 from AMC, but #42, #19, #20, #E are also buses running along Kalia Road from various parts of the Island, including Ala Moana Center....except that #42 and #E require you to be on the Makai side of Ala Moana Boulevard to catch them...other buses wind through the AMC maze....but the #8 is frequent!

Parking Information
If you arrive early you can park in the US Post Office parking lot for free. The USPS lot fills up EARLY. If you can't make it early, parking all day is $6.

Parking across from the Park is $4.00 for the first hour, $2.50 for the second hour.

You can get validation from Hale Koa but that requires military, retired, or contractor ID. Another suggestion is to park at
the AM Center.
